Dan is a software engineer living and working in London, UK. This website is where he puts the results of various programming experiments and (very) infrequent blog posts.

Past escapades

He graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2006 with a degree in "Internet Technologies and Applications". He started off working at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where he was their sole in-house web and database developer.

In 2008, Dan left the School to go and work for Reading Room, a Soho-based digital agency. There, he helped build various client sites, like the highly-acclaimed Future Talent charity site.

Dan joined the BBC in late 2009, where he has remained since. At Auntie, Dan works within the Future Media platform team where he works on internal tools, libraries and global modules. He has also worked on BBC iD - the BBC's sign-in system and other social projects integrated with Twitter and Facebook.
